Did you know…you have access to free online courses that are five to seven weeks long in computer science and information technology? coursera.org offers courses like Learning to Program: The Fundamentals, Algorithms (Part I), Human-Computer Interaction, Creative, Serious, and Playful Science of Android Apps with instructors from Princeton University, Stanford University, University of Toronto, and the University of Washington.

They do require 6-8 hours per week of homework. You do not receive credit; however, you do receive a certificate of accomplishment if you successfully complete the course.
